Our non-accredited courses are designed to help learners build digital skills, boost confidence, and feel more comfortable using technology in everyday situations.
They include practical skills such as:
- using a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet
- setting up and using email
- searching the internet safely
- completing online forms
- using Microsoft Word and basic Excel
- accessing online services
Our courses support people to engage with their local community and take steps towards employment or further learning.

To check your current digital skills, you will need a short assessment. After the assessment, we will talk to you about your options and help you find a course that’s right for you. Prior to completing this form, please check our eligibility criteria.
Our courses are funded by the Department for Education (DfE), so we need to check that you are eligible to study with us. Please answer the following questions and we will review your application.
