We run a range of ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) courses at the hub, including beginner courses.

Our non‑accredited courses are designed to help new UK residents improve their English, build skills and confidence, and feel more comfortable communicating in everyday situations.

They support people to engage with their local community and take steps towards employment or further learning.

Register for an ESOL assessment.

To check your English level, you will need a short assessment. After the assessment, we will talk to you about your options and help you find a course that’s right for you.

Our courses are funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and we need to check that you are eligible to study with us. Please answer the following questions and we will review your application.

You can call us on 01273 296 953 or email us at ash@brighton-hove.gov.uk if you have any questions.
